For instance, an we might use play-based activities like building with blocks to develop problem-solving, or role-play games to encourage social interaction.

Our Speech Pathologist helps support and improve your child’s communication and feeding skills. Whether your child is learning to speak, understand language, use alternative ways to communicate, or needs support with safe and effective feeding, the Speech Pathologist provides tailored strategies. This might include plans to help learn new words, or introducing communication tools like picture cards. They can also support chewing and swallowing skills, building confidence at mealtimes, and helping your child try new foods. Depending on your child’s needs, the Speech Pathologist may join a session to observe, guide, or demonstrate strategies directly.

Our occupational therapist collaborates with your key worker to support your child’s ability to participate in daily life. They help develop skills like feeding, dressing, and playing, as well as addressing gross and fine motor skills, and sensory needs that might affect your child’s comfort and behaviour. For instance, they might guide you on creating calming sensory activities, adapting toys to suit your child’s needs, or supporting fine motor skills through fun hand-eye coordination exercises.

Our Social Worker supports your family to navigate NDIS, connect with community services and build strong support networks. They also assist with the family emotional wellbeing and practical needs, collaborating with your key worker and visiting as needed. They offer advice, connect you with community resources, and help you manage stress, challenges or offer behaviour support plans. For instance, they might help you access local support groups, providing strategies to cope with family stress, or guiding you through the process of accessing additional services.​
